Visionquest:
Returning back into the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is met with hesitation these days, but it’s refreshing to see a show such as “Visionquest” to deliver an impactful delivery.
In my podcast episode I go over my full thoughts on the series avoiding spoilers, but I will say we do go into plot details up to episode two due to the first two premiering this week. I do hope you catch up with the series because it is worth your time. My main pullback is that I wish this phenomenal Marvel Television entry would’ve arrived on our screens sooner. It’s frustrating to see the potential the Marvel Cinematic Universe could’ve had if we had headed in this direction sooner.
Bettany is brilliant as always with his return as Vision, but he brings in a new layer to Vision’s interior that will keep you capitative throughout. However, it’s Ruaridh Mollica who steals the spotlight as Tommy Maximoff/Thomas Shepherd. He integrates seamlessly into this universe and I’m excited to see where he goes forward from here. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a talent I see popping into the EE BAFTA Rising star award down the line.
We’ll check in next week with our midpoint of the series and the finale in a few weeks.
Stay tuned!
