“The Love Hypothesis” Review

I never expected to fall in love and it’s probably one of the best surprises of the year so far involving fake romances, friendships, sisterhood, scientific chaos and learning that Tom Bateman can be THAT guy. 

I’ve had the fortune to see this one twice and I can tell you it even hold up better on a second rewatch. Currently, my podcast review is linked down below and I do go into spoilers for some of the films key points. However, I will say when you see the level of care that Lili Reinhart put into this film as both the lead and executive producer – she shines very brightly.

One of the most favourite things that has come out of this film is the sensational press tour that Reinhart has taken a lead on by giving a nod to some of the most biggest romantic comedies to have graced our screens such as “13 Going On 30”, “How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days”, “Miss Congeniality”, and more continue to grow on the list. However, I think it spells in beautifully into the film seeing that “The Love Hypothesis” is willing to make us fall in love again romantically but appreciate a number of relationships that affects our lives every single day. 

What I find most endearing about this movie is the fact that even though it has a streaming release strategy, it could’ve easily been a theatric release. I truly do think this foam stands on a good platform to be appreciated by a large range of audiences, but Prime Video is doing a wonderful job on getting the word out there for this film. And what I do hope is that Prime Video is able to secure Lili Reinhart into a first look deal because of how excellent elements and her marketing strategy has been spectacular.
