“The End of Oak Street” Review
Welcome to “The End of Oak Street” where the trip will be chaotic, unexpected and filled with laughs. I was able to see the film on Monday and the crowd was fully immersed in this ride. I do warn the film’s logic doesn’t click the whole way, but it’s the ride and feeling of enjoying the movie that makes for a great time.

However, lightly touching here on my thought all I can say is that Anne Hathaway truly is on a run for the ages. She brings in another cascade of range and having her hold a shotgun to a t-rex may sound silly, but it delivers for a heck of an action scene.
Now in “The End of Oak Street” we have an entire neighborhood that suddenly gets transported to prehistoric times. No matter where they go whether by foot or car in the radius of their neighborhood they’re surrounded by rainforests and trailing weather conditions that worsen as the film goes.
Hathaway and McGregor have wonderful chemistry in film as a couple whose marriage is on shaky ground. Their children played by Maisy Stella and Christian Convery bring a light hearted energy to the film and hold their own against Hathaway and McGregor. I don’t want to give spoilers here so please tune into my full review below, but know you’re going to be enjoying a fun film in the middle of summer that delivers an unexpected surprise.
