Alright we have Directors Guild of America Nominations (DGA) this Saturday, but my predications are ready. We’re going to get a solid idea if Paul Thomas Anderson will be the frontrunner for Oscars’ night or could Ryan Coogler upset?
There’s a possibly starting to settle in about “Sinners” and its record breaking 16 nominations that has now unbalanced the scales and “One Battle After Another” winning Best Picture and Director doesn’t seem as clear. On Monday we’ll go over everything!
Also shoutout to First Time Film – Directing category! I’m going in for “Sorry, Baby” and hope Eva Victor can thank Julia Roberts for the best for your consideration shoutout from the Golden Stage. The only upset I see happening is for Harry Lighton for “Pillion” that just hit limited release in the domestic market. However, we’ll see how the nominees strike out tomorrow!
Also shoutout to Awards Expert App for being able to format this so nicely as always!
